Role Overview
We are looking for a tech-savvy, proactive, and fast-learning Associate Pre-Sales Engineer to join our team. This is an entry-level position perfect for a recent graduate who is passionate about Networking, VoIP, and Unified Communications. You will bridge the gap between our sales team and technical implementation by providing expert product demonstrations, designing technical solutions, and supporting our dealer network.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Demos & Presentations: Conduct on-site and virtual demonstrations of our core product lines, specifically focusing on Jabra (Video conferencing & headsets) and Grandstream (UCM/IP PBX, Access Points, and Switches).
- Site Surveys & Solution Design: Perform physical site surveys at customer locations to assess requirements and determine the ideal placement, models, and quantities of hardware needed.
- BOQ Preparation: Translate customer requirements and survey data into accurate technical Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and solution architectures.
- Technical Research & Training: Become a subject matter expert by studying all product technicalities. Deliver internal training to the sales team and external product training for partners and clients.
- Support & Troubleshooting: Provide online and remote technical support to dealers during installations. Identify and diagnose hardware/software faults for RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) processing.
Requirements & Qualifications - Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Engineering, IT, or a related technical field.
- Experience: Fresher / Entry-level. (Recent graduates with project experience in networking or VoIP are highly encouraged to apply).
- Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of IP Networking (LAN/WAN, VLANs, Switches, APs) and SIP/VoIP protocols.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication and presentation skills in both English and Nepali. Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Attributes: High “learnability,” a problem-solving mindset, and the willingness to travel within the city for site visits.
