Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Sales Supervisor to lead our team in achieving sales targets and delivering exceptional customer service. As a Retail Store Sales Supervisor, you will oversee daily store operations, develop merchandising strategies, manage inventory, and ensure a safe and organized store environment. You will play a key role in coaching and mentoring a high-performing team to achieve store goals while maintaining the store’s visual appeal and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Management: Motivate, train, and develop a high-performing sales team to achieve sales targets and provide outstanding customer service.
  • Store Operations: Oversee daily store operations, including staff scheduling, inventory management, and maintaining a clean and safe store environment.
  • Merchandising: Develop and implement merchandising strategies to create a visually appealing shopping experience, ensuring products are well-displayed and accessible.
  • Sales Analysis: Analyze sales data to identify trends, forecast future sales, and take proactive measures to maximize store performance.
  • Budget Management: Manage the store’s budget and ensure the efficient use of resources to meet operational goals.
  • Customer Service: Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Policy Adherence: Ensure that all store activities adhere to company policies and procedures, maintaining high operational standards.
  • Vendor and Supplier Relations: Maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely product availability and store stock levels.

Minimum Competencies Required:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in retail management, with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
  • Industry Knowledge: Knowledge about makeup and prior experience as a makeup artist is preferred.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively manage and motivate a team.
  • Problem Solving: Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to resolve customer complaints and operational challenges efficiently.
  • Multitasking Ability: Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and retail management software (experience with retail POS systems is a plus).
  • Customer Focused: A passion for providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
