1.3Roles and Responsibilities

The Sales Officer will oversee and expand the company’s retail, local B2B, and export sales operations. This role requires a dynamic and results-oriented professional capable of leading sales teams, developing new markets, and ensuring consistent growth in both domestic and international markets.The following outlines the key duties and responsibilities associated with the role:

Retail Sales Management

● Supervise and monitor the performance of company-owned and franchise retail stores.

● Ensure sales targets are met through effective promotions, merchandising, and customer engagement.

● Manage stock levels, visual displays, and retail operations.

● Train and motivate retail staff to enhance sales and service standards.

Local B2B Sales

● Identify and secure partnerships with wholesalers, hotels, restaurants, supermarkets, and corporate clients.

● Maintain strong relationships with existing B2B customers and distributors.

● Negotiate pricing, contracts, and credit terms effectively.

● Coordinate delivery schedules, order processing, and payment collection.

Export Sales

● Identify and develop new export markets for Himaida Nepal’s honey and related products.

● Coordinate export documentation, logistics, and regulatory compliance.

● Build relationships with international buyers and distributors.

● Identify trade fairs, exhibitions, and export promotion programs.

Sales Strategy & Reporting

● Develop and implement short-term and long-term sales strategies across all channels.

● Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and product positioning assessments.

● Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance, forecasts, and market insights.

● Collaborate with operations, production, and finance teams for smooth operations.

Job Specification:

● Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (preferred).

● Minimum 3-5 years of experience in sales, marketing, or customer handling.

● Strong communication and negotiation skills.

● Good interpersonal and relationship-building ability.

● Valid driving license (if field-based role).

● Knowledge of the local market and territory.
